Dying to Live Tour
Dying to Live TourDuring the summer of 2010, twelve of our teens participated in the second youth-led ministry tour, the Dying to Live Tour, sponsored by SLY Ministries.  For 19 days our young people camped out, sacrificed showers, led worship, played games, prepared meals for our team and the community that turned out each evening, and most importantly, shared their lives and the story of God’s work in them, in the four different small towns that we ministered in.  It was a time of great challenge and growth for these young men and women as they opened themselves up to be used by God and watch Him work through them.

4th of July Potluck - 2010
We celebrated the 4th of July with our annual church BBQ potluck. Everyone who came brought lawn chairs, buns, meat to grill and a potluck dish and joined together for a great evening. We ended the night over at the parsonage watching fireworks on the front lawn.

Jason and Melissa Story's Reception
On Sunday July 8th, we honored Jason and Melissa Story with a wedding reception during potluck. We joined with them as they start a new chapter of their lives together. They were very overwhelmed and blessed by the outpouring of love from the church family.

4th of July Potluck - 2007
We celebrated the 4th of July with our annual church BBQ potluck. Everyone who came brought lawn chairs, buns, meat to grill and a potluck dish and joined together for a great evening. We ended the night over at the parsonage watching fireworks and enjoying a bowl of homemade ice cream, made by the Pastor Doug and Laura, just after dark.

Father's Day
On June 16, we honored our fathers with a Father’s Day dinner. The men were served a lasagna dinner with a variety of desserts, and Anna Whipple played music during dinner. After dinner, Anna entertained the group by doing sing-alongs and also sang with her son Jesse. It was a special time for the men to get together and enjoy fellowship.

Graduation Sunday
We had a special Graduation Sunday on Sunday, May 27th to acknowledge the graduating class of 2007. We had a BBQ after the service so we could greet and visit with graduates and their families. It was nice to share this special time in their lives with them.
